Jan 2012 : successful go-live at client . One of the key achievements of my career. got lot of appreciation from leadership.

Mar 2012 : Abhi was born... Great moment..

May & Jun 2012 : Many a times, I feel it was a dream... 20 of our classmates met in Vegas to mark the 10 years completion of our engineering days.

July 2012: Traveled to US with a day's notice for a pursuit. This is the first time I was involved in a pursuit and it was great experience.

Sep 2012 : family get together to mark five years completion of our marriage. we went to resorts and had fun.. overall 40 members..

Sep 2012: Dad fall down in bathroom and had fracture at hip joint. very sad.

Nov 2012: Presented at OAUG bengaluru ... great experience again..

Nov 2012: good meeting Boston fellas Raghu, Kishore, Sandeep, Ravikanth and Sudheer.

Dec 2012 : Prepreations for Hari's marriage...

All months : lot of travel...

Confidence

I went to Kamareddy yesterday to see bapu.. he is not well and very weak. his blood sugar is not under control.. He is under physiotherapy treatment but he is not cooperating with the doctor as he is fearing that he might fall down again... He seems to lost his confidence and will that he can walk again..

to see bapu like this something I'm unable to take it.. he is someone who is so strong and he never afraid of anything in the life.. but with five years in bed ,  I think he lost his confidence...  we tried to boost his confidence and lets see how it goes in next two months..

some lessons are learnt hard way but I realized how much confidence can influence a person...

Life of Pi

It's been almost two weeks since I watched "Life of Pi" in Chicago with Prabodhan and his colleagues but I'm thinking about this film almost every day. It left profound impact on me. This is one of the best movies I ever saw . It's visual retreat if you watch in 3D.  

I would like to take Pranav to this movie in 3D once I'm back in Hyderabad. I don't think there is any better movie than "Life of Pi" as Pranav's first movie..

U.S.A.

Of late, I was thinking a lot about settling down in US Vs India. for most part of last two years, I was in US and I think I addicted to the life style here...  let me think aloud and put my points here.

Life in USA
=========
1. Good life style. no need to worry about many thing you worry in day to day life in India.
2. Money
3. Good education for children. Though it's debated a lot in the blogosphere, I think US education system is better than India.
4.More time to spend with family : I can take a 8-5 job and spend as much time as possible with kids.

Life in India
=========
1. Close to my family. Thinking of my dad, I fee guilty that I contemplating move to US. I feel it's unfair to not to be with the parents when they needed me the most.
2. family bonding : I can't believe Pranav will be away from his loved cousins for long.
3.As long as I'm in IT, it's difficult to spend time with kids in the evenings.
4. Lot of home work and stress for kids, which I think is not necessary .

Dad and son

Today is Pranav's fourth birthday. I'm missing it. This is the first time I'm not with him on his birthday. I hope this is the last one.  Sorry nanna....

Last night dad was severely sick and got admitted in the hospital. Sorry bapu ,I'm not with you when you needed me the most.
