U.S. Timezone

PST,CST & EST (with day light and without day light) are always confusing to me.. there had been some occasions, where I missed out some of the conference calls . The following news was published in Oracle Metalink saying that it might affect some of Oracle Application modules.

Beginning in 2007, the United States and Canada are extending Daylight Saving Time (DST) by three weeks in the spring and one week in the fall. DST will begin the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. Previously, DST began the first Sunday in April and ended the last Sunday in October.

Confusion multiplied...

btw...there is MST...mountain standard time..part of Arizona and other states use that...and they do not do Day light savings :)

MST don't use daylight.. interesting.. rest of US states should learn from Arizona.
